Email of dispatch note to warehouse for picking

Hi all, I'm trying to automated the system so that when an order is created and paid for and subject to the item being in stock, a dispatch note/picking list is created and email to either myself and/or an additional email address. I can see how to send an invoice, but don't want to use this option as I don't want the invoice in the package. Also I dont want the invoice created until the goods have been picked and shipped.

I've tried to use the drop shipper, but that doesnt check for stock.

Any ideas?
