Stock control api

Hello

I have one BP site, soon to be two and my stock control is all over the place because it's managed by a warehouse with their own stock control meaning I need to update my stock manually on BP which I don't have time for. I need their stock control to update mine? Can that work? Can anyone do it and what would it cost?

if you can get a file from the warehouse in CSV format you can schedule and update as often as you need to

I can get a file but how do I adapt it and schedule it? That doesn't make any sense to me at all, would I have to convert the csv to match?

As long as it's a csv file and you use the SKU your supplier does you shouldn't have to adapt it. Create yourself an import in Import Product Data and assign SKU to Column x/x and Quantity in Stock to Column x/x.

Column x/x will depend on what columns the SKU and Stock Qty are in the feed file. The import routine will ignore everything else.

You can import the feed manually or if you are on top package of BP you can use data scheduling to automatically pick the file up from your suppliers server.
