    API - Totally Confused

Hello - at the moment I'm evaluating Bluepark to see if it's a good fit for us. Everything is good until I get to the API part - seems a minefield in terms of making it usable. Can anyone give me any direction on how to retrieve data - at the moment it's only one continuous string in a web browser which at the moment I cannot manipulate - any tips at all would be appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Keith

Yes, the API is designed to allow custom integrations with the BP system. These should be created by qualified and experienced developers, not end users.

Not always true as Rob @ Bandanashop is both

Keith, assume you have checked out the BP user guide for API here http://www.bluepark.co.uk/api-user-guide.html ?

Hi Dave - yes I did - I have got experience of programming (primarily vb.net) but little of PHP.

However, gave myself a crash course yesterday and can retrieve orders based on status (and import into our ERP system) and re-update them to show order is being picked but now struggling on updating individual fields of an item such as "Quantity_Picked". At the moment one step forward and two back - it's the array element that's proving difficult hence why I originally asked for some tips.

            Regards

            Keith
