Delivery Date on Each product page

Hi everyone, looking to add a delivery date calender to each product page, so when potential customers are looking they can see when they can get it without having to click the buy button and go through the whole buying process before they get a delivery date. Example link below

You could just create a tab labeled 'Delivery' and add all the info there, or are you looking to add the info nearer to the 'add to basket' button and if so, how complex are your delivery times/options as it could look a little busy being placed there?

Hi Mike,

Yes near the add to basket button. We only deliver to certain postcodes also. Fulfilment is set to 3 days most of the time but does change as and when required. It's our most common reason for customers calling asking if they order when will they get it. So potentially could be losing business as people can't see when they will receive the goods.

Hi George,

I'd personally create a delivery page with all the prices, dates etc. and then add a clickable 'Delivery Details' link or image near to the add to basket button. You could then set this so that the page opens up either into a separate browser tab or in a custom-sized window within the existing page.

Alternatively, you could achieve something similar to the light-box effect similar to when you click on a zoomed-in image on the product page. This will give you a pop-up that displays the information in a separate box in the middle of the screen whilst darkening-out the rest of the page behind it (this is a however a trickier solution that requires the use of JavaScript).

Also, like in the Co-Op site you linked to you could also add a bar that runs below the main navigation bar that displays information like any free shipping break-point, if you ship to the EU/Worldwide etc. - IMO these are a good idea as they are displayed in a prominent location on every page (and again these could be made to link to the main delivery page when clicked).
