When a customer fills a form in, I get all the info to my inbox as expected, but it says it's from sales@internetoutfit.com - Is there a way you can specify a form to be from the customer's e-mail address they have submitted?

Now I am not the most technical person, so I may be about to be shot down on this one. But I think that the only way you get the customer email address is to put a field in the form for their email address because they are not emailing you, they are sending a form from your website, hence the email address is from your site's address.

Interesting as we have just put a new form on the site (not yet live) and the from address is the person who submits the form. This is true for both the contact form and our new one.

Sorted - it's on the autoresponder page - there is a drop down to say "e-mail address field" and it uses that then. Simple I guess lol.Comment
