Adding Price To Options

Happy New Year everyone!

I hope someone might be able to help with this question.

Is there anyway that the Varient prices can be automatically be added next to the text in the Options section?

Basically we offer for sale items that have different options. Each different option usually is at a different price.

Currently we manually put in the different price options into the Options text area (which match with the Varient prices), so that you get the following text in the Options drop down boxes:

(Option 1)Dark Wood Coffee Table £50
(Option 2)Light Wood Coffee Table £70

Now that we have to change our pricing due to the VAT increase it is a nightmare having to change the individual prices in the Options section!

Argh! Nevermind, I have found it. For anyone else who may be having the same problem you do:

Site>Configuration>Product>Display Option Prices


Although there is a new issue. This way only displays the Option price if there is only one Option for the product. However some of our products have two different options, example Size or Finish which have two different prices - in this case the Option Price is not displayed.... is there anyway around this? Thanks

I think it would be complex for BP to handle such variations in prices although it would be good if BP would show something (+£XX) automatically at the end of the option on your website.

you should be able to create an option called size/finish in option manager.. then assign it to the product and you will then see a variant tab.

go into this and create the options(variants you want to sell in there)...

this is one product we have done it to although at the moment all sizes are the same price. but all have there own indavidual sku number
