Double Discount

I am trying to apply a global discount using the Pricing Code, which seems to be working fine, but I then don't want Discount Coupons to apply additional discount, which is what seems to be happening.

Any way of disabling the Coupons if a global discount is applied?

If it's a global discount, could you not manually disable (red flag) the existing coupon discounts for its duration?
