BP order showing not paid but PayPal showing payment made.

Hello

I have an order in the order manager page with PayPal as the payment method but is highlighted in pink and showing as order not paid. I have the email from PayPal showing the successful payment and it is showing in my PayPal account as successful and cleared. any ideas why it is not showing as paid in BP ?

It could be the customer didn't return to the site from papal to complete the order.

If this is your first paypal order just check that the callback method & url are configured correctly.

We sometimes get orders that have been paid but the BP site hasn't shown it. I think it happens when there is some sort of break in the communication between BP and the payment provider. We use the Orders in Progress area to double-check that they are genuinely abandoned orders and not ones that have been settled.

We sometimes get this if the customer has tried paying via Barclays then goes onto pay with Paypal - we just make sure we check every payment against the ordres.
