    Catalogue > Export Product Data

I'm obviously missing something glaringly obvious

When I attempt to Catalogue > Export Product Data > Complete Export

Delimiter is set to 'tab' the rest of the settings are left as default.

I click on Generate CSV File and the export completes successfully but then when I click on the Download CSV File icon, the data appears in a browser window as http://[removed].co.uk/export/products-1286345891.txt

How do I open this within Excel to amend and then import back into Bluepark?

All I want to do is delete approx. 1400 products from the database .

A point in the right direction would be most appreciated.

Note: It's a betapark test site at present, in case that make a difference.

I would set the delimiter to comma which will generate a csv instead of a txt file

When the file opens up in your browser just select "file-->save page as" from your browser menu

Open up in excel, delete whatever data then save and re-import using the import product data option

I've just attempted to import the new product .csv but the existing products within bluepark are still there. I was hoping that these would be deleted/replaced by the new file - any ideas? Ignore me, missed the "wipe database" option doh

No problem, was just about to tell you to tick the Wipe Database box
