    Hiya All.

    I am new to Blue Park and wondering if anyone has a good idea as how to run a competition on your site?

    Create a new form page? Answers to questions can be created using radio buttons or drop down menus.

    You will then have to collate the entries (submitted to you via email from the site).

        Create a form page then create an HTML page and then link the form to the page using code as below (the number "1" will be different).

        {_form_object_1}
        See your Contact Us pages (both in Form Manager and Page Manager) to see how it works.

                  I'd like to run a competition on my site, where you have to purchase to be in for a chance of winning! Although i can collate the buyers myself, on checkout, i'd like a check box to be show simply saying "Click to enter into the xxxxxx competition" - just to get a little interest hopefully! (Id like the box by the coupon/loyalty points Value. Is this possible?

                  Thanks

                    Now i stand to be corrected, but is that legal, thought competitions had to be available for all to enter, without having to purchase anything.
                    Regards

                    Neil.

                      I think Neil is right. I'm sure it's something to do with needing a gambling license if people have to buy something to enter!

                        I was just about to post the same as Neil - you need proper rules published and so on as well. If you do a search for UK competition rules you should find some that you can amend. Also you can't post competitions on Facebook.

                          Thanks for the replies!
                          I've had a look around and i think it should be ok - maybe i'll call it a promotion rather than a competition. Regarding the gambling. They won't have to pay to enter (hence i can put no purchase necessary, even though essentially they do). As long as you don't inflate the prices, to cover the competition costs, you can say no purchase necessary! (As crazy as that seems!)

                          So is the tick box on checkout possible....?
