    Rotating Images in Blocks

    Hi are looking to add some rotating promotional adverts for our parent site, and will have different adverts on each category page.

    We have tried (and failed) a few options, and I note that several sites on here have got this working in different formats, but on checking the code we can't work out what is going wrong for us.

    Our blocks will just be either on the left or right of our site, currently we have a static advert, and also Google Adsense, but we want to make our own adverts more like the Google ones with rotating images, and links.

    Any pointers greatly appreciated.

      This is the thread you need. Whilst you can set up random images in BP using random blocks, the best way is to use some Javascript as detailed in the thread below.

      The random BP block way only produces a new image each time you refresh the page whereas the method below rotates the images constantly.

      Hi All Just setting up our new website www.miamorelingerie.co.uk and would like the images on the front page to change every few seconds with different link on each image. I know you can use alternative images but that only works when you refresh the page, also i know how to do an animated gif but you can't get separate
