Hi You all,

We are planning on working with some Affiliates (good enough word) but they may not
have website from which they send customers. I have tested the affiliate monitor feature
and guess it needs a Referring Domain to work. Is this correct, if so is there a way around
that.

There are well connected people out there who might like to make money with us on jewellery but they
do not have a website to be able to use the affliate feature.
We are open to ideas on how to use the website with these people. We have thought about using discount codes for each person, how many codes can you have are hundreds possible???

The Affiliate system is based on the customer connecting to your site using a specific type of URL to tag them as a referred customer. It doesn't sound like this will work in your case. You can set up as many coupon code based discounts as you like, there is no limit, so you could give one to each "affiliate" to pass on to their customers.

Good to know the program can handle it. Now if we just had a way to track what we payout in commissions. I have tried to think of ways using what is there already like setting up commissions as a sale and then refunding it when paid out but it gets too messy. Oh Well!
