    Sage Pay Problems

Anyone else having problems with Sage Pay today. Can't see today's transactions in their admin panel and having intermittent payment problems.

Have you not had the following e-mail today which explains the transaction problem?

The Sage Pay payment gateway is fully functional and successfully processing all transactions. However, we are still encountering some issues in populating transactions into My Sage Pay. Our engineers are continuing to work on this issue.

If you rely on My Sage Pay to refund, release, authorise or repeat transactions, you will not be able to manage transactions taken after 1am this morning until the issue is fully resolved.

If you are using our Terminal, please don't attempt to reprocess transactions, as this may result in duplications.
    Regards,

    Dave

When this happens my advice is to just switch to 'Offline' payment in Site \ Configuration \ Payment and sit it out. Customer knows no different, orders keep coming in. Even if you have to delay despatch until tomorrow, it's better than losing business.

So how would you get payment from the customer?

Bluepark captures the card details. Just put them through Sage Pay manually when the system comes back up. Simple.

Even the CVV number? I didn't think the system kept that part.

Doesn't help if you don't have a MOTO account

SagePay are really starting to annoy me and perhaps this year we will finally decide to move elsewhere!

Quick question, if bluepark captures the data at the point of checkout, how is that data shown? Where di i find it ? Does it go direct to Sagepay and appears on thier system ?

No it appears on the order processor in Bluepark. Click the icon to the left of the payment method.

I repeat my feature request I originated last time we had this problem, comments Rich?

Rich, any chance of looking at becoming your own Payment processor? It's money for old rope and I'm sure you could do the job far better than SagePay. You could tag the admin panel into Bluepark. Take a look at these guys http://www.upg.co.uk, they have a solution where you can use their infrastructure and put your magic on top and I know from experience they are very reliable. In fact when we were with them they never went down in two years.
