    Adding pages to blocks

Hey there - I can add pages to the 'main' block in hte LH column (I've renamed it to decide) and now I want to feature another block in the LH col that also has a page in it.

I cant work out how to do it?

I tried to copy teh 'main' block and change the pages but, unfortunaely, the copy still took its feed of pages from the existing main block

I then tried just putting in a link to my page in the block editor - but the formatting ends up being different?

So the questioon I guess is 'how do you allocated pages to a block?'

    Thanks in advance

    S

Is it a case of getting your Menus / Link Font and Hover Link Fonts settings to be the same as your Left Column / Link Font and Hover Link Fonts ?

There is only one Main Menu block which is populated by the Page Manager. It is not possible to have multiple blocks with different sets of pages.

The other block which takes the same form is the Catalogue block which is populated by the Category Manager. This one can be divided up into multiple blocks by inserting categories designated as Heading Only.

If it's strictly pages that you want to feature, you can also link to them via the Navigation Manager, either horizontally only or with a drop-down menu as well.

Thanks Mr Devil - that did the job. Copied the font colour and stuck in a few 'indentation' spaces! :-)

No problem. You now need to increase the width of the left column and probably the overall site/page width so the middle doesnt become too small.

Thanks Dave - I jsut increased the width of the left column but don't see why I have to as the width of the actual words in the column aren't as wide as that? putting it wide enough that the headings dont eat into the border vertical line make it look a bit too wide and a little odd?

I take it back - it looks fine when I'm logged into the editor but, when I log out, it goes wrong again?!

                  Go figure!!??
