Adding a drop down box to checkout - 'where did you find us'?

I have started advertising locally and want to find out whether it is working.

Is there anyway, on the checkout screens where people add their address, I can add one of those drop down boxes some people can let me know where they found the site.

We used the Additions Manager to achieve this. There's a thread on here somewhere but I can't find it at present. Basically you create a global addition with a form that has all your options in it which customers then see on checkout. The only downside is that it appears attached to the first product on their invoice, but it's a small issue that has never caused us any problems.
