Order confirmation email

Is there a way of adding the Fulfilment information to the confirmation email?

e.g. Your order will arrive/be dispatched by such and such a date

This gets my vote too - because we offer three different service levels it would be very useful if the predicted dispatch information that appears in the basket also went onto the confirmation emails.

Yes this would be a very useful enhancement.

The shipping date already appears on the order confirmation email and the invoice/despatch note when next/named day shipping is used. Otherwise, there is no firm shipping date, just a worst-case "delivery by" estimate which is displayed in the shopping basket.

Since this date isn't saved in the database, it's not currently something we can display on these documents.

Hi following Richards comments here I understand that the delivery date should appear on the despatch note automatically without having to fiddle with coding. My despatch note only says the 11th being date ordered. The delivery datge (to be actually received by the customer) is 13th December. Does the despatch note not automatically show this date? The delivery date ie 13th is on the invoice but not the despatch note. This is what I have on the despatch note:

Delivery Method: UK Named Week Day Delivery (UK Mainland Only)
Date: 11 Dec 2012

Is there something wrong does anyone know?
