Hi all, just a quick question. With regard to the Admin Manager, is it possible to disable the Statistical Overview which appears when you log in? I am creating a user which has access to content and user statistics but nothing financial. However, the Statistical Overview shows the pending value of orders!

I take it no-one uses the admin manager then or is aware of this possible minor oversite?

I would imagine everyone uses the Admin Manager and knows that you cannot filter the admin access in this way, if you want section by section admin permissions you need to go to something like Magento.

Thanks for your answer John, the user permissions are fine it's just that one box that shows the pending order value that was the issue. I'd have thought that if you disabled Sales Statistics that it should remove that one line. I just wondered if anyone else thought similar or there was a work round. I suppose we'll just have to deal with the fact that this one user (external to the company) can see our pending order values. Not to worry!

Have to admit i would like this, seems strange as you can limit virtually everything else.

I'd like it too if it were possible (but would prefer the updates to the discount system first!!)

You could maybe ask Rich to add a line of CSS to, e.g. the Grey Theme which would hide the Statistical Overview ( #side_index_inner {display:none;} ) and allocate the Grey Theme to that Administrator. Rich may well say that this can't be done of course!

Not a problem for us to date but I can see that if I was giving permission to someone outside the company to access our admin area, I would like to hide this as well.
