Creating pages that don't automatically appear in blocks?

Hi all.

We're having an issue on our site that I wonder if anyone has an answer to please?

We've created a number of pages that we want to be linked from the footer but we don't want them to automatically appear in any block.

At present the pages are automatically appearing in our 'Information' block at the top left of the site but we want them to be separate pages that we can just link to from the fotter.

Can anyone advise please?
