    Rss feed subscriber

    Morning hope your all enjoying the sunshine.
    I have searched for this and cant find, is there a way to add a subscribe to our RSS feed?

    If you look at the news headines on your front page it displays the RSS feed icon. As I understand it all you need to do is click on the icon and then subscribe.

      it just brings up some coding when you do that

        It works fine for me in Firefox. I don't actually use the RSS feed so maybe someone with more experience than me could help.

          oh im using chrome maybe thats why thanks for looking, its working fine for others in chrome so have cleared cache and that seems to have done it, need to have the RSS reader installed in chrome, fire fox and IE have them installed automatically

            Chrome as standard doent do anything except display the raw markup if you click an rss feed. If you look at it in firefox the feed should appear formatted similar to how it would appear within a reader.

              Thanks PDUK, have installed the extension to chrome, wonder if many people subscribe to these still or are they just good for SEO and Google.

                for those of you that would like to you can burn your feed to feedburner, then there is an option to have a subscribe via email , we have created one and put it on the bottom of our site at right hand site
