Attributes Manager - Help Needed

Can anybody help? I'm sure it's a very simple thing but for the life of me I can't work it out.

I get the concept of Attributes. I can create a new attribute, and assign products to that attribute in product manager. But where do I create the attribute values??

I just need some help in knowing where within the systenm I create new attribute values and then assign them to the attribute.

Got me stumped.

Go to the Attributes Manager which is in the catalogue tab. Click on the green plus at the top right of the page and create your attribute. It will then show up under Attributes when you are adding products.

Many thanks for your reply. My problem is rhat I can create a new attribute no problem. But if I have lets say several attributes already set up for lets say colour where in the system am I able to change the names of the attributes for a product. For example I have red set up as an attribute but want to change the name to burgundy, where would I do this. Somebody has set up several attributes for me I just am struggling to see where I change the individual value names.

Hi Dean
You should just have the word 'colour' as the attribute not the actual colours (they're values), once you've selected colour in Product Editor > Options you can add or change the values, there's a little notepad & pen icon in the Actions column which you click to edit exsisting ones.
