Adding product descriptions/images

Hi,

I am about to sign up for a BP package. I have a designer in mind for the design, I just need to save a few more pennies due to the relative expense.
My question is: Is it ok to add product images/descriptions to a bare site before the design is done? Will this hamper any design work?

No, the template/design is totally separate from the product inventory and images. Thats the whole point of a template - it sits on top of your site for want of a better way of explaining it. You can create your categories and insert your products without delaying or affecting the design work. In future, if you decide to change the design, just create a new template and leave your products as they are.
