Using shoptalk on a mac

Hi all

Im using shoptalk to see if people will use it who visit the site. However every time i launch the window for listening mode, I always get a pop up saying some quicktime components are missing. I can dismiss this and shoptalk works fine.

Has anyone an idea why this is happening.

Running on an imac with Lion

Doesn't work using Safari on a Mac (or in my experience it doesn't)

Works fine using Firefox

Im on a Mac, and have no problems using shoptalk, either in private or Public mode in the background....works fine

Ill give that a try.

It still works, just annoying with the pop up all the time.

let me know how you get on - I think I had some problems with quick time initially...but since re-installing - all ok

unable to delete quicktime from the mac, just get a popup saying its needed by the OS and wont remove it

Are you using Safari ? Try using Firefox ?

Mine works fine with safari on the Mac. Its strange that yours works fine, but gives you the pop up initially. I would kick an email off to either Apple, or Quick time, and see if they know of the issue - they may be able to apply a quick fix?

Im using Firefox, not tested with Safari or Chrome yet.

All software is updated to latest version. Ill try reinstalling quicktime and see if that resolves the problem

Thank you for the replies. will continue to try to resolve, its not a major issue, just annoying really
