Order status emails

Sorry if this has already been covered but I can't find it.

I've found the outgoing email options in the language manager for different statuses and I've found out how to create these statuses in the order manager.

But I can't find out how to attach the two - does this make sense?

I've created an order status - Orderupdated - and have tried a on a test order and no email was sent (I had the box ticked for email send)

Hi,

The language manager contains the e-mail content for the standard bluepark order statuses only being pending (new), order updated (part shipped) and completed.

Any additional order statuses you create in order-->order statuses have there own e-mail content being e-mail subject, e-mail body which you create in the order statuses option. This is completely separate to the language manager and there is no relationship between the two.

I think you have perhaps mis-understood how the system works and have created an updated order status and expected it to send the order updated e-mail in the language manager ?

I have now created the email content for Order updated, in order statuses but no email is sent when I change an order to this new status

Is there anywhere I can view emails which have been sent automatically by the system, please? I have seen reference to email log but can't find it.

You can find the email log under SITE>>E-MAIL LOG this will show you every single email that the system has sent out

Thank you Daniel - I should have found that for myself but I'm just getting a bit duthered!
