Allowing a customer to upload an image. (how to)

Hi,

I have been developing a site on the free trial and then have signed up with Bluepark.

We are a small family run business selling cake decorating, baking and cookware items.

We want to have a product page allowing bespoke design of icing cake toppers; to do this the customer would upload either a design idea, picture or photograph which we would then produce with edible inks on icing sheets.

Can anyone tell me how to insert the required fields into the product page to allow this to be done.

Please keep in mind the I am a complete novice in web design and am also still finding my way around the bluepark site.

In Catalogue > Addition Manager make a new addition with 'field type' as 'file upload'. Then in Product Editor > Additions tab you can assign that addition to your product.

I thought it would be more complicated than that. Whilst things are going well can I be cheeky? We sell silk ribbon both by the roll and by the meter, how would I set this up on the site.

You could set up one product and have two variants, one for per roll and one for per meter.

You need to start by making an option and once you have set what option you want e.g. size you will see a new 'variants' tab appear for the details to be entered.

Hi, have managed to set up the variant ie per meter or per roll but must have done something wrong as with setting up two SKU's, I now have to versions of the product showing within the menu.

Sorry, not sure what you have done. You should have one product and in that product two variants.
