Hyperlink text size

Is there anyway of making the hyper link text remain the same size as before it was linked?

i know I can change the text size of hyperlinks in the template but this means I have to keep changing it according to where I am putting the link to make it match - pretty sure it didn't used to be like this.

Any ideas - am I missing something?

Probably because you have different font sizes for the text and hyperlink text in your template settings. Don't forget you can set these for different elements of your templates like left, right, centre columns and navigation bar etc so it depends on where you are placing links.

I had this problem too, I didn't want the font in the default as my link font and vice versa. The old WYSIWYG editor allowed you to change this but the new one doesn't. The way I got round this was by James setting up a font command (don't know proper name sorry) that I put in the the link properties each time. Perhaps have a word with James he will understand what you are after and I'm sure he will help you.

If you go to Template Manager, then into the Column that you are using on your chosen template, you can change the link size and font etc to default, so when you are editing a page, it will fall in line with everything else you are typing across your site.

This wasnt appropriate for me as I wanted my links different to the default font across the site.

Still relevant. You set them, then when you add them, they will be what you set. The other text around the links will be whatever you choose on page.

Yes B1uenose, as far as Im aware this will also change the font colour and link on ALL links including those of my products on the category pages which I didnt want to change. I literally only wanted the odd link changed to a different font and colour. My normal links are default as you say above but some odd other ones needed changing and after discussion with Bluepark the workaround was that James created some additional style CSS which i put in the advanced properties of each link to change it from the default.
