"The delivery method you have specified is invalid for your location"

    Hi,

We have certain products on our website that are presently out of stock, but in production and will be available soon.

The site is set to accept orders when items are out of stock, but whenever an out of stock item is added to the basket, the error:
"The delivery method you have specified is invalid for your location" is shown and the item is unable to be purchased.

We've checked all the shipping settings and all seems ok. The error only shows for out of stock items, but will also show if a mix of in stock and out of stock items are added to the basket.

Has anyone come across this and if so, how was it rectified?

    Thanks in advance.

You need to make a Shipping Method that has 0 fulfillment days, and is also a "worse case" shipping method, at the moment I would guess all of your shipping methods have a set number of fulfillment days?

      Hi ThomasMurray,

That seems to have done the trick! I changed the fulfillment days to 0 and it now works fine. I have no real reason to put a fulfillment day in so I'll just leave it at zero.

      Many thanks!
