A 'Blocks' question!

Hi all,

I'd like to essentially duplicate the visual look of the recommendations block but be able to push specific products into that block.

I'm aware that the latest products block essentially does what I want to do but I want more flexibility to be able to push specific new products rather than just random ones.

Is this possible?

I think the featured products block maybe what you are looking for? In product manager the products ticked as FG (Featured Globally) will appear in this block

But I want more!! LOL

I want the featured products block...and I want a special block just for the home page.

There are products that I want to feature globally, there are products I want to feature in categories and there are products that I just want to feature on the home page.

I'd also like to name my 'home page only' block as something different to the current 'Bass Centre recommendations'.

Even if I could replicate the visual appearance, that would be good but can't figure out how to get the dotted separated lines. I could just do it via the CMS then.

Any thoughts??
