    Chrome Issues

Is anyone else having problems with Chrome, its crashing and freezing constantly on two of my computers rendering it unusable! Will have to go back to Firefox or IE I guess.

I am too. Are you using Windows 10? There was an update to Chrome yesterday and I thought that had fixed it but it crashed again. I'm currently using Firefox and quite liking it.

Hi Ian I upgraded to Windows 10 only to downgrade but I dont think that is the problem it looks like lots of people are having issues looking at the google forum. I like Firefox too but that also kept freezing before, but I havent used it for ages so perhaps it will be better now.

I read that it was a problem with Windows 10 compatibility, not with Chrome itself, and that MS are working on a fix. Seems to happen most often when closing a browser tab. Try right clicking and selecting 'close tab' rather than clicking on the X. You can also try downloading Google Chrome Canary which is a development version and runs alongside Chrome. Apparently it doesn't suffer the same problem (can't verify this tho) but it's not a stable release so there might be other issues.
