    Image size question

    Hi,

Does anyone know the maximum size that can be used for the thumbnail image without messing up the layout and side blocks?

I'm working on site optomisation again as I am still not happy with the conversion rates and want to create an experiment using larger thumbnails.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Gill

I'm not sure there's a simple answer to this one. It will depend on the screen width you have defined in the Template Editor, and whether it's fixed or not, and on how many columns of products you display (we went from 3 to 4 recently, so had to reduce the size of the thumbnails). The easiest thing to do is experiment - if you want larger thumbnails, consider going to just 2 product columns.

If you want me or the group to have a look when you've made changes, let us know.

    Regards

I think it will depend on the width of your website (main table) and width of all the other elements on your pages. I think you will have to experiment with a few products to see what is the max thumbnail size for you
