Mobile width not fitting on newer phone

I've got a crappy old samsung a3 and my website looks fine - there's no sideways scrolling, it fits perfectly width-wise.

But now I've got a new phone, with a much higher resolution, and the website doesn't fit - it scrolls off the edge of the screen and has a horizontal scroll bar.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? How do I fix it...? I thought BP was supposed to adapt to the screen width.

ps. It's definitely the mobile version.

I'm having the same issue. I can't seem to find a solution. Plus the header and footer are not full width when I switch to "view full site".

Whichever page/header/footer width options are selected the site displays exactly the same.

Sounds as though you may have a block/blocks that contain content of a fixed width (such as an image for example) which are larger than the intended max-width of the site and therefore forcing itself out of it's boundaries.

If you post a link I can take a look for you.

In our case the problem magically resolved itself shortly after, so no idea what happened there...

Managed to find the cause. It was a table on the home page contents. Had to remove it in the end as no amount of tweaking or removing fixed width settings would help. It makes it look messier with no table, but it will do, as it doesn't throw the mobile site out.
