V2 Product carousel

I've upgraded website to a V2 theme.
On product catalogue pages with the new carousel view, initial images load to left of container but when you use the carousel left/right buttons it corrects to centre alignment.
I can't set width to 100% as image ratio is sometimes 3:1 on most products.
What code do I need to add to ensure all my images load centre aligned?

Thanks in advance. I know there are other problems especially with mobile but I'd like to get this sorted first.

Oops...I thinkI fixed this.
Just needed to define things in responsive css.
