    New forum

I can't help but notice there's only been like one post in the last 15 days, can I assume that's when the forum changed...? Had a hard time logging in as I couldn't remember my username or password (browser normally remembers that!), and the "forgot password" doesn't seem to work...

Also, the search function doesn't seem to be working? Or at least it only seems to recognise posts made on the new forum... so that's very unhelpful...

Using the search function was the most useful part of the forum. Bad that it doesn't include the old forum posts now. Maybe that can be reinstated?

The forum has been quiet for a while now, so don’t think the new forum is responsible for that.

Does seem to be an issue with the search though and this needs looking into.

The search function is a problem we’re still trying to fix. We upgraded from vBulletin 4 to 6, which is a major step. The upgrade went reasonably well, except for the search index not rebuilding successfully.

We have a ticket open with vBulletin as this seems like a bug on their side, but we don’t have a fix yet.

I only just noticed these replies - I didn't get any notifications, despite them being switched on in my settings - is that another known issue?

I agree, I didnt even realise this had all changed, I had no notification from BP in the updates, couldnt login initially and the search doesnt work. I thought the forum had been hijacked by somebody else initially!

I like the new forum software. It looks better on desktop & mobile. Also the search is now working correctly which is good.

To me it was obvious the software had been updated and I had no problems logging on.

I don't think the search is working correctly. I just tried a search for 'Stripe' and there were no results. Before the update there would have been many.

That’s true and I see what you mean. When I tested it out I used the word delivery to search and it came up with lots of results, so bit confused.

It's still the same forum software, vBulletin, but it's the latest version now on a new domain (Bluepark.community). The main reason we did this, other than the software needing an update, was because vBulletin can be a security risk and I didn't want it installed on one of our main servers anymore.

The search function relies on a search index being built, and vBulletin appears to have a bug. I can't rebuild the search index, so only new threads are showing up in the search. They got back to me a few weeks ago claiming to have a fix, but it didn't work.

I'm hoping that it will be resolved at some point, but they are slow to respond.
