Change Layout Of Purchase Order PDF

When we send a Purchase Order to a supplier the comments are placed at the end of the order, after all the products. As this is generally important info the supplier needs to know we'd much prefer the notes to be first: beneath all the address info, above the products listings.
How can we change this?

Hi Tom,

I've never used the purchase order facility but I believe it works like the invoice PDF does and when generating the PDF it uses individual variables for the header details but when it comes to the products and comments these details are generated in the background and placed under a variable of %details.

Unless things have changed I don't think you can change the way it works.

I'd suggest a quick e-mail to support to confirm whether or not this is the case.
