Moderate new account submissions

Hi all,

I am working on a B2B site which will be a slave to my B2C website. I am setting up an additional form on the new account page to act as the business registration which should hopefully save me time in having to not manually create accounts. I have searched through but i am possibly missing something. Is there a way to change the site settings so that any new account creations have to be reviewed?

I'm building a wholesale site as a slave to our main site, and while I want people to register for a wholesale account, I want to authorise every account before they're able to place an order. Is there a way of holding a registration for authorisation before the customer can log in as a registered buyer? Thanks :)
