Now, it might just be me, but i'd rather keep this forum for helpful advice and BP advice, rather than spammy promotional postings if that ok with everyone.

You can use UKBF for that and keep this as a quality forum!
    Regards

    Neil.

I am sorry this has annoyed you Neil. I am new to this Forum and from seeing previous posts I thought that this was common practice. As I now know differently I will be sure to keep my offers to myself!

      Thanks

Everyone else has it in their signature links not by starting new threads.
        Regards

        Neil.

I think links in signatures are unhelpful as well. It may be my imagination, but the members with the most 'promotional links' tend to post some (quite often) irrelevant replies at every opportunity! Also, I'm quite surprised by the amount of business information that users divulge on forums like this.

Which members are you referring to?

I disagree actually, I find signature links pretty useful as I have found some great stores/products through them and have ordered with at least 4 BP sites so far that I can think of on the top of my head....

Why not start a thread in the private section for BP exclusive discounts that BP peeps are willing to offer other BP users?
Maybe keep it so that it's more of a permanent discount rather than updating a specific offer regularly to keep the thread "tidy" - i.e one post per website with a short sentence or two about the discount offered?
Just a suggestion that would avoid threads like this being labelled "spam" rather than helpful?
