Address Labels

Hi Everyone,

At present I use my laptop to produce address labels. I use a sheet of A4 labels and Open Office but it is a bit of a pain. I just spent 10 minute - and wasted half a sheet - trying to line up the text to print an address on a label. I was wondering if anyone has an easier solution to this? There must be an eaiser way!

Search for label templates. for the type of labels you use. or i think there is a method to integrate BP despatch notes with label sheet. Sure someone will shed light on this.

I use a Dymo Label Printer.....I copy the addresses from the orders and paste them into the on screen Dymo template and print them off. Works perfectly and is fast,

It may not be financially viable to everyone but purchasing a thermal label printer is perfect.

We use this with Royal Mail Despatch Manager Online (anyone with a business account can use this software you just have to ask, it's not only for tracked customers as Royal Mail would have you believe) it has an address finder & you simply print them off via that software, it's quick & easy and you also get free labels from Royal Mail. The only investment is the printer, which can be around the £200 mark.

Would highly recommend Despatch Manager Online for anyone who uses RM.

Try Serif Pageplus x2 or later version. Copy and paste into your chosen label format, print one or many copies and print from anywhere on your sheet by skipping labels. Find a copy on ebay for a few quid or most desktop publishing will do similar.

He means just a standard black & white laser printer, you can buy integrated labels that you can print Bluepark invoices on, you can then peel off the invoice address to stick on your parcels.

Just search for "Integrated Labels" on the forum and you should find more information.
