    Flat Blue Template

    Hi,

I'm thinking of changing to the flat-blue template and wondered if anyone that is now using this could let me have a look at what they've achieved with this template.

I also wondered what the best size header for this template would be.

    Thanks

      Hi
I moved to the flat blue, all i have done is change some basic colour settings and added a few blocks etc, I love it and it does everything I need it to but i'm also looking forward to what other templates BP will be releasing.
      Cheers

We changed this one to the flat template:

        www.brother-printers.co.uk

It's set to 1200px fixed width. We would welcome any comments.

Very nice, clean and easy to use website.

By the way, your £200 cash back offer (in the slideshow) expired at the end of March

It looks great. I don't know if it annoys everyone else as much as me, but can I suggest you find a way to fix the height of the reviews block at the bottom of your homepage. Page elements that change the position of the footer or other elements around them while browsing really grind my gears

Yes, that's a bit of a nuscience really. All the promo info on the product pages, and current promos page have disappeared as planned as I had them all set on the date so they expired automatically. But you can't set dates on the banner images so you just have to remember about those.

Although I've just noticed that the slideshow itself can have an expiry date, so I guess theoretically we could just set up quarterly banners that have the main banners plus any current promos. Then one banner would expire and the next take it's place... bit of a faff though...

Huh, I hadn't noticed that before. I'll take a look at that when I get some time - along with all the current cashback promos!
