I've just had the edirectory sales pitch and was quoted £1495 per year setup (2nd year reviewed on performance!) and 10% commision (I thought the set-up cost was steep!).

Having seen this thread and having had a follow-up call from edirectory I stated that 10% commision was way over the odds - they said what did we want to pay(!). After saying 2% was the top they said they would get back to me!

Based on the comments here though I'm still not happy with it whatever they say - but I too would be interested in others findings.

Avoid edirectory at all costs is my advice - paid the £1000 set up fee over a year ago and had 4 sales totalling about £100 since dspite them telling me that the amount of searches they were getting for my product that they could not fulfill would come to about 30k p/a!!. They never set up the google feeds or did anything to get the traffic they said they would, despite repeated contacts. Awful system to use as well from a merchant and customer point of view as well.

I was interested to read that a lot of you have been contacted by e-directory.

I contacted them last year to enquire about going onto their site because Figleaves had pulled out but once I realised all of the work it was going to be said no. I wondered if they have googled me and found my posts on here and have now been pestering you guys - all of you have posted on my threads or I have posted on yours. Do you think that it is linked somehow and this is how they got their leads?

Maybe more of a reason to make these forums private but leave a 'general' site open for people to ask about Bluepark, etc...
