Just noticed on your homepage your facebook/twitter block drops down - don't think you meant it to be like this. Sorry can't help you to correct it though!

Suggest trying to avoid empty pages (although I know I am not without sin on this one ...) but if you click on "Links" on you Nav Bar there aren't any; if I click on "Church Resources" in the category list, there aren't any.

Hi Tim,

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on opening your store. I have a few bits of feedback for you:

• I found the left navigation to be very wide, it takes up a lot of the screen meaning your product pages are a bit squashed. Also on my laptop the last couple of options are below the fold, I need to scroll down to see them. I'd really try to make the navigation smaller if possible.
• You have quite a few sharing buttons on the product page plus "tell a friend", "continue shopping" etc. It might be worth thinking again at how valuable some of these buttons are to your customers and remove as many as possible. From the product page you ultimately want them to hit the "add to basket" button, anything else is a distraction.
• There's a wide range of colours being used on the site, purple and blue headings on the product page, various colours on the navigation menu, perhaps fewer colours would create a more joined up look?
• Some of your category pages are empty or have very few products, that may be because you're still inputting. If not though I find very "thin" category pages like this a little off putting.
• You don't have an "add to cart" button on products at category level, if you can add one here then you should give it a try.
• The 4 book rotating image on your homepage seems to load a little odd, 2 books load then a few seconds later the other two load.
• Some more content on your homepage would be good, more text, banners, books etc would definitely make it look more interesting.
• I agree with the comment about the search box, you can hardly see it at the moment.

Hi Stoked thanks for that, I will put this in the Tech discussion too, but regarding the images on the home page, I think that may be due to the block design as I wasn't sure how to make a revolving slideshow with linked images I created 4 slideshows and put them in a table inside a slideslow......probably a massive graphic design no no, but I didn't know how else to get more that one linked image per slideshow on the screen at the same time.
