    What does everyone do?

Some on here have been registered for many years and their initial 'Hi, I'm Bob and this is my site' post has been long forgotten. I thought it might be interesting for everyone to post a short description of their site/business so we're not missing out on potential connections with other blueparkers...

Our site, ScoreStore, used to be operated by a family in Berkshire. We bought the company in December 2012 and merged it with our existing company Forwoods Music by Mail. We operate from a large Kent Barn just outside Dover. We retail printed music and music accessories with our core business coming from the Public School sector.

Handlehub is based in sunny [ehem] Burnley and started properly about 12 months ago. We sell premium door handles, window hardware, locks etc from big brands.

The hidden gem though is that we are also high quality OEM manufacturers of items made out of Aluminium, Brass, Stainless Steel and Copper. None of this casting stuff though - proper forging!

Born from a love of childhood nostalgia, we formed our retro gifts and clothing store (Nostilia UK) back in 2012. Initially setting up shop in a discount outlet in Oldham, we soon learned that running such a niche retail project on the high street wasn't only expensive, but couldn't give us the visibility or ROI we hoped to achieve. Now here we are, 2 years later, enjoying all the benefits of a Bluepark website, along with a little more success. (Sometimes).

I have two small businesses, TJReiki & TJBodyRocks. TJReiki was created through my families love of Yankee Candles, and when the shop which we always bought them from was in the process of closing down, I was introduced to the Yankee Candle Rep - and thats how this business began. We now sell Yankee Candles, WoodWick, Trapp & Shearer Candles, as well as lots of other interesting, and quality gifts including some very popular jewellery lines for men and women. TJBodyRocks is a Male Grooming business, and is always very busy, as over recent years, men have started to look after themselves/their appearance much more than they ever did - this includes, waxing, facials, MANicures Pedicures, Facials, Massage etc.

Struggled with a very expensive bespoke website for the TJReiki business for years and then came across BluePark, and I am pleased to say that its one of the best business decisions I have ever made - love it
And there we have it - thats me :-)

This thread is really interesting - nice to read about what others in the BP community do, and have to offer

                Hi there, We are CarWingMirror.co.uk.

We stock pretty much everything wing mirror related from inbuilt indicators to replacement caps and glass.
We started off selling service kits on eBay to pay for me and my business partner to race in the Golf GTI championship. Eventually we got fed up with the high costs of selling on eBay so set up a website.

That was a good few years ago now and we moved to Bluepark in Aug 2011 I think. The site is much better now we are using Bluepark and our sales have doubled.

                Cheers,
                Gavin

http://amberpumpkin.com - we started off selling amber teething necklaces but have diversified into other products around baby teething such as bibs, teething toys. We also sell a lot of adult amber jewellery that is good for arthritis and aches and pains. Been using Bluepark for a number of years and very happy.

Site is in need of a refresh now so looking for help with that.

                  Thanks

                    Hi,

I'm Lisa and I've been running www.babynotincluded.co.uk for nearly 7 years. It started off as an additional income alongside my full-time job, but I would like it to become my main source of income to allow me more home time with my two children.

I'm based in Devon and as well as selling online I like to do fayres and markets which is nice to meet new mums and dads looking for great things for their babies.

If anybody is interested in some mutual promotion then get in touch.

                      Good day everyone,
My name is Steve, and we have a picture framing and mount cutting site, we have taken mount cutting a stage further than most picture framers, not satisfied with square or circular window shapes in mounts, we can cut a host of different shapes from cars, heart, cupcakes, stars, animals such as elephants, dogs and birds. All this is done on the latest state of the art computer mount cutter, we also cut custom shapes for customers, we supply a lot of craft people.
We also have a B&M shop here in Bath, Somerset, where we frame normal run of the mill things like photos, certificates and sports shirts.

It would be nice if more contributors/members had their sites as links in their forum signatures, does seem some are a little shy about this
