If you have the unmarked large images, you can upload them all via ftp
then update all images via a spread sheet (.csv) using >field Large | products/large/yourimagename... field Main | create(200,*) field Thumbnail |create(100,*) field basket |create(50,*)
This will take the large image and make main etc to a size, ie. 200px wide x (*proportionate height) using the * just means images are not squashed, if you have square images you can add the figure. Change the sizes to suit your need.
